Lance Rogers – Chair
Originally from Miami, FL, Lance Rogers is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania, B.A., and holds a Master’s Degree in Government Administration from the Fels Center of Government at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Lance graduated from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago.
Lance is the founding partner of Rogers Castor. His practice includes a wide-variety of legal matters including litigation, corporate law and real estate. Lance has represented international celebrities and has been selected to serve as general counsel to a number of local, national and international corporations.
He was elected to the Lower Merion Twp. Board of Commissioners, and currently sits on the Rosemont College’s Business Advisory Board, Narberth Ambulance Advisory Board. When he is not working, Lance takes advantage of his FAA pilot license, fandom of the NFL, and time to spend with his wife and son.
Because of his personal and professional relationship with Claude and his role in establishing the foundation, Lance was appointed CEO of the Claude Giroux Foundation in 2015.
As a Private Wealth Advisor with Ameriprise Financial, Patrick specializes in retirement planning strategies, estate planning and charitable giving. Having been in the industry for over seventeen years, he has been awarded the designation of Certified Financial Planner™ and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ .
Patrick received his undergraduate degree from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, where he served as the Hawk mascot. He then went on to earn his master of Science in Financial Services and is now a PhD Candidate in Financial and Retirement Planning at The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA.
Philanthropy has always been an integral part of Patrick’s life. For over 20 years, he has played a significant role in his family’s foundation, the Raskob Foundation for Catholic Activities, where he currently serves as the Chairman. Patrick also helped establish the first ever National Day of Service at Saint Joseph’s University in 2008, which attracts over 1000 volunteers annually in more than 50 service sites, internationally. As a lifelong Flyers fan and admirer of Claude’s leadership and dedication to the Flyers organization, along with his dedication to serving his community, Patrick now serves on the Board for the Claude Giroux Foundation.
Patrick was first introduced to the Claude Giroux Foundation by Lance Rogers. The two shared a mutual client, and immediately appreciated each other’s work ethic and focus on helping people. Lance thought Patrick would be great to bring his expertise from working with non-profit foundations to CGF. He values this opportunity and believes CGF can make a wonderful impact in the lives of the people it serves.
Patrick was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware and now resides in Vineland, New Jersey with his wife, son and daughter. He and his family share a love of Saint Joseph’s University basketball, Philadelphia sports and trips to the Jersey shore.
Rick Brown is a wealth management advisor and a founding partner of Clarity Financial Planning Group. For nearly thirty years, he has been helping successful business owners, executives, and families with their wealth management, protection, and distribution needs.
Prior to entering the financial services industry in 1989, Rick graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College in Vermont. He continued his studies at The American College of Financial Services where he earned numerous designations, including Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®).
Growing up playing ice hockey, Rick was excited to join Claude Giroux’s effort, through The CG Foundation, to make an impact in the Philadelphia community, and beyond. Rick and his wife, Jenny,have two children, Jack and Sarah, and he loves spending time with them, cycling, and reading.
Christos Tzimoulis has over 17 years of experience in the Real Estate Industry in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area. He is now a licensed real estate broker in Pennsylvania. As Broker of Record, he oversees all activities performed by New Age Realty and is active in sales and development operations within the company.
Christos has an engineering degree and a Master’s degree in business management from Drexel University. He was born in Philadelphia, raised in Upper Darby, and now resides in Broomall with his wife and two young children.
As a Flyers season ticket holder and father of two children, Christos felt a connection to the Claude Giroux Foundation and its mission.
When he is not working, Christos is the Secretary of the Parish Council and serves on the board of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. He is also on the Board of The Drexel Area Property Association (DAPA) as the association’s treasurer. For fun, he enjoys ALL sports and traveling as often as he can!
Josh Weinfeld – Treasurer
Josh Weinfeld joined The Claude Giroux Foundation in 2017 as the Foundation’s Treasurer.
Outside of the Foundation, Josh is an attorney with Rogers Castor focused in sports and entertainment law, as well as business law.
A proud Philadelphia resident, Josh is a graduate of Temple University where he received his B.S. in Sports Management. Josh earned his J.D. and received a Business Law Certificate from Temple University Beasley School of Law where he was the first ever recipient of Temple Law School’s Sports Law Scholarship in 2016.
Josh brings with him the experienced he gained while previously working with the Philadelphia Phillies, EMG Sports and Global Sporting Integration.
Josh is an avid fantasy football and baseball player and lives in Center City with his dog, Buzz.
Jake Hoffman – Secretary
Jake Hoffman has over 10 years experience in business operations, which includes his current position as Executive Assistant at Rogers Castor. Having worked for a nonprofit for numerous years, Jake also developed an expertise in organization and event management for nonprofit organizations. Because of his particular skill set, he was brought on by Claude and Lance to assist on multiple projects for the foundation.
Jake officially joined the Claude Giroux Foundation as the Board Secretary and is responsible for handling the operations of the foundation, which includes management and coordination of foundation events, administrative functions, and communications for CGF.
As an active member of his community and proponent of childhood welfare, Jake felt at home with the Claude Giroux Foundation.
Jake is married to his wife, Toria Hoffman and currently lives in Conshohocken, PA. When he is not working at Rogers Castor or CGF, Jake spends time facilitating his 4 for 4 Philadelphia sports fandom.
